When you donate, register online, take part in a sponsored event, contact us or interact with us in any other way, Creating New Beginnings may receive personal information about you, such as your name, address, telephone number, email address, debit/credit card or direct debit details.

How we use your information
We will use your information in a number of ways, such as processing a donation that you have made, sending you information about our work and how you can continue to support CNB, sending you communication you have subscribed to or responding to correspondence you have sent to us.
How long do we keep your personal data?
We will provide you with access to your personal data when required. Should you then wish to update your details or remove your details, you will be able to do so at any time, allowing you ongoing consent and the right to be forgotten. If you have trouble accessing your account at any time, you can contact us during office hours.
Specifically, we retain volunteer data, donation records, gift aid declarations and associated paperwork in-line with current legislation or recommended “best practise”.
What is the legal basis for processing your personal data?
- Explicit consent of the data subject so that we can keep you informed about news, events, activities and process your donations.
- Processing is necessary for legitimate interests in running and promoting the charity.
